Images from this years RIAT Airshow, arrived on Tuesday night and departed on Monday afternoon, with mix weather conditions over the six days photography was hard most of the time. RIAT organizers yet again did a great job, bringing rare and colourful aircraft from all corners of the world to the largest Airshow in the Uk, highlights in this years show was the two SU-30's mkI & IL-78 mkI from the Indian Air Force, the Royal Jordanian Air Force BAC 1-11, the two Turkish Air Force NF-5B's, the two Helinic Air Force A-7 Corsair's & special colours C-130H, the USAF aerobatic team Thunderbirds and many more. My warmest thanks goes to all RIAT organisers and volunteers for their hard work and making the show a great success, I am already looking forward to next years show. RIAT Airshow 2007
Images from this years RAF Leuchars, this years event was blessed with good weather and good participation from RAF, USA and European aircraft, the highlights for me was the Czech AF Mil-24 Hind and Mil-8, Polish AF MiG-29, Hellenic AF Mirage 2000, German AF Phantom F-4, plus many more. The flying display was also superb, the MiG-29, RDAF F-16, BAF F-16, RAF Typhoon, plus Tornado GR.4's and based Tornado F.3 where just superb to say the least, the airfield attack by the Tornado GR.4's was the best display I have seen in a long time. I would like to thank all the RAF personnel at RAF Leuchars and civilian organisers for their hard work, without them events like this would not be possible. There will be no airshow at Leuchars in 2007 due to runway resurfacing work at the base but should be back in 2008, however they will be a family's day some time next year. Images from this years V-A-S Photocall, the society has more then 300 members and based in North Wales. Last year the society raised £10,700 for their charities, I hope this year they raise even more. This years event was by far the best photocall, with over twenty aircraft taking part and unlike last year, the weather was much better, I am already looking forward to next years event. My sincere thanks goes to Valley Aviation Society, Group Captain Tony Barmby and all his RAF personnel for making this event a great success. |

Images from Tuesday's trade day at the 45th Farnborough International Show. The biennial Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is the world’s largest aerospace event attracting exhibitors from more than 30 countries and over 130,000 trade visitors. Farnborough International Limited was able to announce that business orders at the show had reached nearly $28bn, by end of July 20th, this beats the total for the last show in 2004 of $21bn with one business day still remaining. Many thanks to all concern for a great event, looking forward to 2008 show. |
Images from Sunday of this years Airshow at RAF Waddington, weather was very hazy in the morning but cleared nicely in the afternoon, not as many aircraft this year, but what was there it was well worth seeing, The flying display was also very good, the RAF Typhoon, NZ Air Force B-757 & P-3 Orion display was superb!!, also some superb display teams with Yak's and Extra 300's, all in all a great day and well worth the drive from Anglesey.
